Quelle est la différence entre Sena et Cardo pour les intercoms moto ?
Sena et Cardo sont les deux leaders du marché. Sena propose des interfaces intuitives, un bon rapport qualité/prix sur l'entrée de gamme et une intégration casque native sur de nombreuses marques. Cardo se distingue par sa technologie maillage (Mesh Intercom) qui permet de connecter automatiquement jusqu'à 15 riders sans pairage manuel — très supérieur pour les groupes. Audio : Cardo avec haut-parleurs JBL est généralement meilleur. Les deux sont incompatibles entre eux.

Quel intercom moto choisir pour communiquer à plusieurs ?
Pour les groupes : choisissez tous la même marque pour garantir la compatibilité. Cardo PackTalk Bold ou Edge : maillage automatique, jusqu'à 15 riders, reconnexion auto après perte de signal. Sena 50S : maillage jusqu'à 24 riders, intégration Harman Kardon. Pour un duo uniquement, les modèles milieu de gamme (Sena 30K, Cardo Freecom 4+) offrent un excellent rapport qualité/prix.

L'intercom moto fonctionne-t-il avec tous les types de casques ?
Les intercoms universels s'adaptent sur presque tous les casques jet, intégral et modulable via des kits de fixation à vis ou à velcro. Les casques très étroits (certains racing) peuvent poser des problèmes de placement des haut-parleurs. Les intercoms intégrés ne fonctionnent qu'avec le casque spécifique. Peut-on utiliser l'intercom moto pour écouter de la musique en roulant ?
Oui, via Bluetooth depuis votre smartphone (streaming Spotify, Apple Music, podcasts) ou depuis la mémoire interne de certains modèles. La musique peut être automatiquement mise en pause lors d'un appel intercom entrant, puis reprendre. Légalement en France, utiliser des écouteurs/casque audio en conduisant une moto est autorisé si le volume ne coupe pas totalement la perception des sons extérieurs.

Comment installer un intercom sur un casque intégral ?
Retirez les joues du casque. Insérez les haut-parleurs dans les logements prévus ou utilisez les velcros fournis. Faites passer le câble dans le contour du casque le long de la doublure. Fixez le microphone sur bras flexible devant la bouche. Replacez les joues. Clipsez le boîtier principal sur la jugulaire ou la coque. Comptez 15 à 30 minutes la première fois.
